 Health & Safety

The board of directors and management of Avidity Linx Limited are committed to the provision of a safe and healthy working environment and seek the co-operation of all employees to secure this purpose.

The company will provide working conditions, which comply with the relevant statutory regulations, in particular with reference to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. In addition, officially approved codes of practice that are designed to ensure good standards of health, safety, and welfare will be incorporated into this policy.

As an organisation that caters for the training needs of young people and adults we are committed to meeting the criteria outlined in ‘The safeguarding Vulnerable Group Act 2006’ in order to minimize risks and to address the concerns of young learners and vulnerable adults. In addition, we fully support and aim to address the goals outlined in ‘Every Child Matters’ in order to keep our learners safe and ensure they receive an enjoyable and rewarding learning experience. Avidity Linx Limited will work closely with the new Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) to ensure all staff who deals with young people and vulnerable adults are suitable checked and vetted for the duties and responsibilities they are employed in.

The board of directors and management recognize that this health and safety policy will need to be annually reviewed and amended in line with the demands from our funding.
